Five Certificate III options focus on specialist trade outcomes. The Certificate IV in Building and Construction develops broader capability in planning, codes, contracts, safety and project supervision.

The right pathway depends on the kind of work you want to do, your existing experience and the responsibility you want to hold in the industry.
Specialist trade work
Choose a Certificate III when you want to develop hands-on capability in a specific field such as tiling, plastering, masonry, lining or glazing.
Planning and supervision
Consider the Certificate IV when your goals involve coordinating projects, applying codes and standards, administering contracts or supervising building work.
Units and electives
National qualifications combine core and elective units. The electives and specialisation offered by TSC shape the exact skills and occupational outcome.
